My daughter watches this show almost every single day, so I feel like I owe it to her to make this. It took a looooong time to do it though because I couldn't find anything white to use for the white part of the eye. Oh and I wish the black food marker had not turned greenish on the cheese. Boo-hoo.

George's head is made of:
- A piece of bread cut into shape with the help of a template.
- Cheese slice for the face, ears and eyes.
- The rest of the head is dabbed with some chocolate sauce.
- A black food marker to outline the upper part of the eyes and the face and ears, as well as to color the black part of the eyes.
- A tiny piece of fondant rolled into two tiny balls for the sparkle in the eyes.
- Nori a.k.a. seaweed cut into a smiley mouth and a nose.

Here is the picture which I found on Google to help me make this:

The Girly Not-So-Angry Bird

I've seen so many others do Angry Birds, I finally caved in and hopped in the bandwagon. This particular one done by Creative Food is the one which most inspired me and pushed me into that wagon :D

The most flirtatious-looking bird I have ever seen.

Girly-Not-So-Angry Bird is made of:
- A piece of bread cut into a circle.
- A piece of cheese slice for the whole body, eyes, eyelashes, brows and cheeks.
- Red parts are colored using red food coloring, and black parts using a black food marker.
- The pink cheeks are Strawberry Fluff dabbed onto the cheese.
- A tiny piece of carrot for the beak.
- Some pineapples for the bow.
- Raisins for the tail.
- The sling is made of some chocolate sticks/biscuits, and the leftover cheese from the body.

I usually google the picture of the character I want to make on my iPhone, and my iPhone would be right there next to me throughout the process. Here is the one I referred to for this :)

Yellow Tang

This is one of my favorites because it didn't need a lot of stuff to make:

- A piece of bread cut into shape with the help of a template.
- A piece of cheddar cheese slice cut into shape with the help of the template.
- Cheese for the white part of the eye.
- A tiny piece of blueberry for the black part of the eye.
- The outline of the gill and on the fins are made by slicing through a blueberry, so some blue color is left on the cheese.

Here is a picture of a Yellow Tang on Wiki:

No skills nor talent involved here. It's just too adorable to not post it.

Rub-a-dub-dub

Bathtub is made using a white bento box, a straw, and some playdoh.

The other side of Ducky's face actually looked horrible because I messed up the eye.

The rubber ducky is made from:
- Turmeric to make yellow rice.
- Blue Japanese-food-coloring for the blue rice.
- Cheese and nori for the eyes.
- Boiled kabocha a.k.a. pumpkin for the beak and the life float, mashed and shaped freehand.
- A toothpick inserted down the front part of the rubber ducky to hold the head upright.

How much do I love Instagram ?

250412

Yes, quite a lot. I love how easy it is to be able to take pictures and share it with not just friends and family (who have the app. Those who don't, get it now!), but also with people around the world.

Woof! Woof!

I saw a puppy bento on CutestFood.com and I thought I'd give it a try. Couldn't believe it that I managed to do it LOL! Another bentoist at CookingGallery also made this puppy bento. Too stinkin' cute!!!

Saw this on Rabbit Can Cook (who makes insanely-cute bentos!!) and I couldn't wait to try it. It was my first time making bento with spaghetti, and it left me flustered! I couldn't balance the cheese cuts right and it was difficult to arrange the spaghetti to make as her hair. Blagh.

How much do I like surfing Kitchen Fun With My 3 Sons? A lot!!! This was back then (just last month!) when I didn't have any food marker yet, so the numbers were done using a toothpick with some chocolate sauce.

We are a happy family

This was a hit with my daughter as she loves fruits. Inspiration from Meet The Dubiens and again, I failed to make mine as nice as hers. Look at that wonky-looking cloud LOL!
